Practical answers about kalkiGen services, project delivery, security, ownership, support, and starting a project.
Services and fit
What does kalkiGen design and build?
We design and engineer secure websites, Android applications, spatial and drone-data SaaS products, retrieval-augmented generation systems, visual content, and ongoing product maintenance.
Can kalkiGen improve an existing website or application?
Yes. We can audit, redesign, secure, maintain, or extend an existing product. We first assess its architecture, code quality, performance, accessibility, and operational risks before recommending improvement or a rebuild.
Can you work with an existing design or development team?
Yes. We can own a defined workstream or collaborate with your internal team, designer, agency, or technology partner. Responsibilities, review points, access, and hand-offs are agreed before delivery begins.
Which technologies does kalkiGen use for websites, apps, SaaS, and AI?
Technology choices depend on product requirements, existing systems, security needs, team skills, and long-term maintainability. We recommend and document an appropriate stack during discovery instead of forcing every project into one fixed toolset.
Process, scope and commercial terms
How does a project begin?
It begins with a focused conversation about your users, business objective, current product, constraints, preferred timing, and definition of success. We then recommend a practical scope, delivery approach, milestones, and next step.
How long does a project take?
Timing depends on scope, technical complexity, content readiness, integrations, and review speed. The agreed proposal sets out phases, milestones, dependencies, and a realistic delivery schedule before work starts.
How much does a website, mobile app, SaaS, or AI project cost?
Cost depends on scope, delivery model, integrations, risks, and required expertise. After understanding the project, we provide a proposal documenting fees, payment milestones, assumptions, and how work outside the agreed scope will be handled.
What deliverables and revision rounds are included?
Deliverables, review stages, acceptance criteria, and included revisions are defined for each project. This keeps decisions visible and prevents ambiguity about what is ready for approval or release.
Technology, security and ownership
How does kalkiGen handle security and confidential information?
We use least-privilege access, input validation, secure authentication, protected secrets, dependency review, and deployment hardening. Access and confidentiality requirements can also be documented in the project agreement or NDA.
Who owns the completed work?
Ownership, licensing, third-party dependencies, and transfer conditions are stated in the applicable written agreement. Where a handover is included, we provide the agreed code, assets, documentation, and access after the relevant terms are satisfied.
Can website content and media be updated without rebuilding?
Yes. Where content management is included, editable business content is managed through protected backend APIs and managed cloud media. Presentation and system behaviour remain in the application code.
Launch and ongoing support
Do you provide hosting, deployment, and launch support?
Yes, when included in scope. We can prepare environments, deployment workflows, domain configuration, monitoring, and release checks, while keeping infrastructure ownership and recurring provider costs clear.
Do you provide maintenance after launch?
Yes. Ongoing plans can include monitoring, security and dependency updates, backups, bug fixes, performance improvements, technical support, and planned feature releases. Coverage and response expectations are agreed for each plan.
Can kalkiGen work with clients remotely?
Yes. Discovery, reviews, delivery, and support can be managed remotely with clear documentation, scheduled checkpoints, and shared project communication suited to the client’s location and team.
How can I request a proposal?
Send a short enquiry with your objective, current situation, preferred timeline, and any useful references. Detailed technical documentation is helpful when available but is not required for the first conversation.
