Privacy policy
This policy explains the information handled through the public website. A project agreement or separate notice may describe additional processing for an active client engagement.
This policy applies to information processed when you visit the public kalkiGen website, submit an enquiry, or communicate with us about a potential service.
It does not replace privacy terms agreed for a client project, employment relationship, third-party platform, or service operated under a separate notice.
When you submit an enquiry, we may receive your name, email address, selected service, project message, budget or timeline information, and anything else you choose to provide.
Our infrastructure may also process technical information needed to deliver and secure the website, such as IP address, request time, requested path, browser or device information, security events, and diagnostic logs.
We use submitted information to review and respond to enquiries, understand requested services, prepare discussions or proposals, maintain records of communications, protect the website, diagnose faults, and comply with applicable obligations.
We do not use enquiry details to send unrelated marketing unless you have separately requested or agreed to it.
Information is processed where necessary to respond to your request, take steps you ask us to take before a potential engagement, operate and secure the website, meet legal obligations, or pursue legitimate business purposes that do not override applicable rights.

Enquiry and email communication records do not currently use a fixed automatic expiry. They are reviewed against the need to respond, manage agreed follow-up, maintain necessary business records, and establish or defend legal claims, then deleted or anonymised when those purposes no longer apply.
Security access and audit logs use an automated retention period configured by the backend environment; the current deployment default is 365 days. Provider diagnostic logs may follow the relevant provider’s operational retention settings. Information that cannot be deleted immediately is securely isolated until deletion is possible.
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect information, including access controls, protected secrets, encrypted transport, validation, monitoring, and restricted administrative access.
No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. Do not send passwords, access keys, payment-card data, sensitive personal data, or confidential datasets through the public enquiry form.
Depending on applicable law, you may request information about processing, correction, deletion, restriction, withdrawal of consent, or another available privacy right.

The website and services are intended for business users and are not directed to children. Please do not submit information about a child through the public enquiry form.
